PCOS is really making losing weight difficult.
I had a good week last week. From Monday-Friday I lost 4.4 lbs. By Sunday I had gained back 3.8 lbs. I even watched what I ate Friday and Saturday, made sure to stay active, and didn't eat too much.
SO frustrating.

Apple Cider Vinegar
I've read a lot of people (online) saying to try apple cider vinegar for PCOS and fertility (and weight-loss and allergies)...
I've also read one mom that was mad that she could only get her daughter to take it twice a day instead of three times...
That's because its GROSS. I've tried twice. It is sooo tart. They say to mix it with 8 oz of orange juice to hide the flavor. Doesn't help. I have to hold my nose and drink as much as I can then wait a while before I try breathing again. I will get the "sour shivers" even while holding my nose and again once I let go. I'm determined to keep trying it, since it is inexpensive, just depends on if I can stand the smell and taste!

Adipex...
This always happens the first few days on Adipex (or the generic, actually)...
Once I wake up, I can't go back to sleep.
Saturday morning. An account balance text alert to my phone at 4:32 AM woke me up. (BTW, I NEVER hear my phone once I'm asleep... heavy sleeper!) Went to the bathroom. Laid back down... Starred at the ceiling... Played a game on my phone that helps put me to sleep... 530, gave up and came in the living room until I had to take a shower at 7 for work. (My LAST Saturday, I might add!).
Usually wears off after a couple days though. Then I will be dragging myself out of bed, like usual.
Holly is going to start working out with me! Trying for evenings but we might have to do mornings. Still not sure on when my starting time is for my new job. I know I have to be done by a certain time but I think we'll have to play it by ear. SOOO excited to have someone to work out with!!!

Struggling
Sometimes I hate the holidays. Work gets so busy and then allll the yummy food... Its a struggle to just stay where you are weight-wise!
I'm over the 182 line again. A lot has happened within the last month that hasn't helped me keep it down. And my treadmill has been moved to the "game" room... with no cable box and therefore NO encouragement to actually get on it. And the door to that room always stays closed so I don't see it and don't think about it. I need to get back on though.
Did a few bouts of yoga last week. The P90X yoga... I can only get 30 minutes in though because it is a whooping. My flexibility has really dropped with not doing it some much any more.
I really wish I had someone to work out WITH. I think it would make it so much easier and be a bigger motivator if I knew that someone else was counting on me to help them too. I'm not lacking the TIME right now, just the effort. :(

Crossed the 60 lbs lost line!
This week I officially crossed the 60 lbs lost line! I had gotten within .6 lbs a few times in the week before but I don't count it until it actually crosses exactly 60! As of this morning I was at 181.6!
CVS made me mad though because on Wednesday I discovered that they shorted me 5/30 of my pills! So yesterday was the last one I had and Jeff and I are going to go up there tomorrow. I'm sure that there is nothing i can do since its been almost a month since it was filled, but maybe they can do a quick audit count or something...
I'm excited though. 180-160 was my high school weight & beginning of college weight. I am finally fitting into size 14 jeans! Some of them are even too big :o) I do need more shirts and new bras... In due time.
School starts Monday so I am going to have to figure out when to squeeze workout time in. My time is a lot more restricted because of the school hours.

Grr...
Going to the Dr Friday. Going to get back on the diet pills for a couple more months. I track my weight every day and for the last THREE months... It moves with the same 8 lbs. Get low by Friday, gain it all back by Monday. Sucks. I don't want to be someone that will have to CONSTANTLY watch what I eat and workout EVERY day. I don't want skinny to be easy, but I don't want it to be so HARD!!!

New Beginning
My body likes to Plateau... So far the lowest I have been able to get is 187. And then the weekend comes and I don't break through it because I relax on my exercise and eating habits.
BUT
I got a copy of the P90X set and am DETERMINED to get my butt into shape with more workout than just the treadmill.

Weekend Report
The weekend worried me... I may lose 5 pounds during week, but then on the weekend I would gain 3-4 back after the weekend. Friday I had gained 2 pounds from our pizza and salad night... And over the weekend..... I lost it again! Its almost like a headstart for the weekend! I wont be spending the first 3 days to lose the weekend weight!
Friday I was still very sore and visited rex and rachel and adyn. I bought them dinner and we had chilis. I ate about 90% of my bacon cheesehamburger and fries meal. Pretty early in the evening. No workout. I was sore! I ended up going to bed early (11) because I was exhausted.
Saturday I had to work... They got churchs chicken :( but I limited how much I ate. That night was the UFC fight and we had a total of 8 of us for dinner of steak, baked potatoes, filet mignon, ranch style beans, rolls, salad, and shells and cheese. I ate 1/2 a steak, salad, and some rolls!
Sunday was our lazy day and I are well too! Normally I munch all day but I refrained myself :)

June 15th
June 15th will mark 1 year that I've been on this weightloss journey... I haven't lost as much as I hoped but I've lost more than I expected! Any guesses on my weight that day???
Week 1
Ok, technically it was 1 1/2 weeks from my weigh-in... I've lost 5 lbs. But will probably gain some of that back over the weekend.
Created a new workout plan at least until July 2nd that will be a little bit more vigorous. My main competition, Phillip, is 286 lbs and is going no-carbs this whole time because he know he will lose a lot of weight really fast that way.
I think I may be a GREAT coworker and bring cookies and brownies a couple times this next month :o)

Biggest Loser: Work Edition
Because of my determination to lose so much weight by July 1st, I created a competition based off of the Biggest Loser for people at work. Each person who wants to participate has to submit $10 and the winner gets the whole pot! YAY!!!!
Goal: 15-20 pounds LESS by July 1st!
That is my goal for this month. I want to weigh around 175-180 by July 1st. Pretty feasible if I stay away from ALL fastfood and exercise on the weekends. I can lose weight pretty fast during the week, weekends are my killer. Should help that my SummerI class is PE and he makes us workout AND I workout before class. Hopefully that will help me get fit since he focuses a lot on weights too.

Dr tomorrow
Forgot to add that I go back to the fertility DR tomorrow... She had told me to lose a lot of weight to regulate my cycles again, even though I told her that wouldn't work because it never did when I was smaller (which I am STILL right, I might add). So, we shall see what she has to say!!!
4/9 - 191.2!!!
I haven't updated in forever... who knew that working 40-48 hrs a week (not including travel) and 3 college classes would take up so much time???
Anyhow, end of January I finally went to the DR and explained that I wasn't losing any weight even though I was on the treadmill almost every day. She prescribed me Adipex and the 1st month I broke past 200lbs!!! AND I lost 9 lbs!!! The 2nd month I only lost 5.5 lbs (Sister-in-law's wedding... spring break... mid terms....) equating to 194 (on their scale). My goal when I go back to see her on April 27th is 185 on her scale. That will be awesome.
Its crazy that June of 2009 I had a goal to lose between 80-100 lbs... NOW my goal is to lose 30-50 lbs. Isn't that crazy???? I have lost over 50 lbs. Its so had to believe some times.
BUT, at least it is coming at a good time! There are TWO weddings within this next year that I have to be prepared for!!! First one is on my birthday! Next one is a little under a year away!
I do dread swimsuit shopping though. NOT looking forward to that yet. I have no idea what will look good for my body.

Well... I guess it did pay off... 203.0
Maybe I vented too soon about the Treadmill...
Maybe I just REALLY reined in my eating habits yesterday (which I did except for the 1030 Large Chili Cheese Tots from Sonic)...
But hey, I went down!!! Yay!!! Now to get on there this weekend even though Jeff will be there too... THAT will be the challenge since I just like to chill with him. :D

3 Days on the Treadmill and what do I have to show for it???
A weight gain of 2 pounds. WTF?! I'm working my butt off on there and the scale is going UP??

So frustrating that, even working out on the treadmill, all my weight has done this week is go up. 2 lbs since Monday! WTF?!

Update.... 205.0
Still haven't reached 200... SUCKS!!! We did just buy a treadmill though and put it together last night. I have successfully completed my first "run" (walk) and hope that this will be the start of the scale dropping again. I want to update my numbers for the weeks... but after not losing anything for a while I kinda got bummed and stopped keeping track. I watched it but didn't notate it. Besides, its been kinda busy with the house thing and all.
So... No New Year's resolutions... Just GOALS:
1) Eat healthier
2) Be healthier
3) Exercise more
4) Enjoy life!!!!
