17 Day Diet

Tomorrow Jeff and I are starting the 17 Day Diet.

My stepmom has lost about 30 lbs in 40 days on this diet.

I consists of 4 cycles of 17 days and each cycle the diet varies.

This first cycle is pretty much like the Atkins diet. Lean meats, no carbs. It gives very specific lists on what kind of meats, vegetables, fruits, condiments, drinks, etc. that you can eat.

I already know this first 17 days is going to be the hardest. I LOVE carbs and breads... and sweets...

I remember the last time I did the Atkins diet was back in high school and I lost 9 lbs in 4 days... then ate chinese food and never looked back, lol.

We went and bought food and made a meal schedule for the week (so we knew how much to buy). Spent a lot of money.

Hopefully it will get easier!

I will try to keep everyone updated on my progress. I think it is AWESOME that Jeff has actually agreed to do this with me! Its a sign of "unity", as he says.

I can't agree to update EVERY day... especially since school starts again tomorrow. But I will try to keep it updated.

That is SO awesome. I am proud of you and Jeff! Keep it up girl! Let me know if it works, I would like to try after I consult with my Dr...
