Week 1 is OVER

So, week 1 of gym time is officially over!

Monday: 9am-Zumba
Tuesday: 5am-10 min treadmill & weights then Couch 2 5K program Week 1 Cycle 1; 730pm-Yoga
Wednesday: 8am-10 min treadmill & weights; 830pm-C25K W1C2 and some weights
Thursday: 8am-20 min treadmill & weights; 10am-Zumba (HARDCORE)
Friday: 5am-C25K W1C3 and some weights

As of right now I plan on taking the weekend off (mainly since the gym is only open 8am-8pm and I'm sure it will be packed). I think my body could use a rest. I might try to walk the neighborhood with the dogs or something. Speaking of... Gotta see if they are still in the back yard!

Waking Up When It Is Still Dark

I hate doing that. But today it was SOOO easy. I was looking forward to it. Why?

BECAUSE IT'S GYM DAY #1!!!!!!!!!!!

I met SIL-A and BIL-T at 5am this morning. We did 1/2 a mile on the elliptical (which I had to show both how to do). Then SIL-A wanted to do weights (me and BIL-T wanted to do mainly cardio) so we spent the next 40 minutes doing various machines that covered:
Shoulders
Back
Biceps
Triceps
Obliques
Abdominals
Glutes
Guads
Hamstrings
Calves

It was good to be able to go around and test out the machines (practically empty at that time).

The instructor tried to get us to come in her 530 Cycling class... We all agreed we weren't ready for that.

After SIL-A left, BIL-T and I started the C25K program (Couch to 5K). Actually was pretty easy and downloaded an app for my phone that will automatically time us! I'm gonna try and get Hubs and BIL-A to do it this evening when we go back.

Yes, I said go BACK as in twice today!

There is a yoga class at 730 and I told BIL-T that we have to bust butt at the school so we can get there in time. If not, no biggie, but I REALLY want to!

Gotta head to work now!

No Goals

I've decided that I can't make specific goals or action plans. And I especially can't write it down.

I fail at them all. Haven't really treadmilled since the last post on here... OCT 5th!

I can say I have been trying to make arrangements to workout as much as possible now that the gym is open.

So far:
Mondays (that I can) we have Zumba at 9am and I hope to do more afterwards.
Tuesdays are 5am workouts with SIL-A, 8pm workouts with Holly?
Wednesdays are 6am workouts with TJ, 9pm workouts with Holly?
Thursdays are 5am workouts with TJ, 8pm workouts with Holly
Friday is 5am workouts with SIL-A, ZUMBA 530pm with Holly?

School is going to mess with the scheduling a little bit though. I'll have to figure out something because I am tired of only having one pair of pants and refuse to go buy more. Tired of my shirts being too small and limited on options. I hate that I let this happen but I did and now I need to try to gain control back.

Last Night

Last night I was folding and hanging up laundry for the first time in.... a LONG time (normally we just pull it out of baskets!)

And I decided that since I've gained 25-30 pounds, I'm gonna move the clothes that don't fit now, over to the other side of the closet... and now I have almost NO clothes on my side! :(

HOWEVER. Yesterday I did get on the treadmill for the first time in.... a LONG time (longer than since the last time I folded laundry). I wanted to do an hour but pushed myself to 45 minutes.

I'm going to try to stick to a low-carb diet as much as I can too. I might cheat, but I accept that. I just know that I need to nip this in the bud NOW, especially with the holidays coming up! And BIL-1's wedding in December!
