Well, I didn't do my "stepladder" cardio today because I was going to walk to dogs with the hubs...
Which I did, but he didn't :/
Kinda hoped he would be he was adamant that he wasn't. Apparently when I left he was getting dressed to go. But he waited til I was changed, dogs collared and leashed, before he started getting ready. When I kissed him goodbye and didn't make any say that he was going. Said I rushed out too fast for him to finish getting ready. I hoped he would join so walked slow the path we have taken before... And he could have met me one street over when I weave back down.
But whatever.
The point is. I went and I walked for 30 minutes up and down hills in my neighborhood.
Dogs sound like they run a marathon, but goodness knows they need the exercise too!

A Month Later...
So when I wrote that last post?
I didn't exercise that week.
Or the week after (husband was on vacation).
BUT the third week?? We BOTH walked the dogs a few times that week. I would even sneak in treadmill time before he got home since the dog walk was only about 20 minutes long!
Same for this week but he has been getting home too late to want to go walking... But at least I get treadmill time in. Nothing much, of course, since I am just starting out again. But the "program" for 30 minute cardio I am following can be intense. I got it off of pinterest here. The stepladder?? I have to jog at 4.5 and 5.0. I have short legs! Haven't done the weight training part of it. Either I need heavier weights, or just wasn't impressed with that part.
On my Health/Fitness pinterest board, I have a lot of motivational ideas though. I might try to implement them this week. One of them is a money reward system for workouts. BUT I think I want to combine it with a reward for pounds lost. Maybe $1 for each workout and $1 for each pound lost. Not sure though because that is a lot of money!! (I hope...)
Good luck on all your exercise adventures! I will TRY TRY TRY to keep updated more! Maybe I will have more progress to update on!

It's Been A While
It's definitely been a while since I have updated. I am currently sitting at JUST UNDER 220 lbs. Again.
But I'm going to make a change. I don't have school this summer so I am going to start putting in more exercise. I need to.
It is utterly ridiculous that I let myself get back to this point and then didn't do anything about it once it did. I want to fit into my clothes again :(
So, when I get home, even though I will have cleaned two houses, it will be treadmill time.
Then I will clean my house and cook dinner.
You would think cleaning houses would be awesome cardio... but apparently not for me!

Biggest Loser
The Hubs work is doing a Biggest Loser contest!
There are 8 of us. I'm the only girl, and only 3 people are heavier than me :/
But we have til April 25th and 1st place gets $350!

This Week's Goal
This week's goal by Friday is to lose 5 lbs. I know most of it will be water weight. But it will be a start!
